Apexindo spuds Sebaya-2 appraisal well

Publicly listed drilling contractor PT Apexindo Pratama Duta said Wednesday it had recently spudded the Sebaya-2 appraisal well in Madura block in East Java.
Madura block, which is located on Madura island, is operated by JOB Pertamina Medco Madura Pty.
The operator has planned to drill two delineation wells on the Sebaya prospect but the second well is subject to the success of Sebaya-2.
According to consultancy firm Gaffney, Cline & Associates (Consultants) Pte, the central fault block of the Sebaya prospect is estimated to contain about 155 billion cubic feet of recoverable gas. (Robert)
