Apexindo to spud Santos? exploration wells

IDX-listed oil and gas drilling contractor PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk said its rig named Ranoworo has been signed up to spud three or four wells within the Madura Offshore PSC in East Java, operated by Australian firm Santos.
?Rig Raniworo will be mobilized to drill about 3-4 wells in the Madura Offshore PSC within a few months,? Manager of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations at Apexindo Paolo Kartadjoemena said to Petromindo.com.
As reported earlier in this portal, Santos Indonesia has allocated between US$15 and $20 million in capital expenditures for exploration activities in Indonesia this year. The firm will spud two wells ? first Merem, then Meliwis ? in Madura Offshore PSC starting in early March, he said.
Santos has a 67.5 percent interest and is the operator of Madura Offshore PSC. Other partners are PC Madura Ltd and PT Petrogas Pantai Madura.
