Apexindo wins $17.5 million contract

IDX-listed oil and gas drilling contractor PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk has won a US$17.53 million contract from Vico Indonesia to carry out onshore drilling work in East Kalimantan, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Monday.
Apexindo President Director Zainal Abidinsyah Siregar said in a statement issued Sunday that the drilling contract is valid for six months, with an option for another six months.
Apexindo said that as of end of April, the company has eight on-shore rigs, six of which have been put in operation. The rigs are operated to carry out drilling works at oil and gas fields operated by Pan Orient, Chevron Geothermal Salak Ltd, VICO Indonesia, Supreme Energy and PT Ogan Interior Gas. (*)
