Apexindo wins onshore drilling contract

Publicly listed drilling contractor PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk said Tuesday it had secured a contract worth US$1.98 million from its affiliate company Medco E&P Indonesia to carry out onshore drilling job for a period of 7 months starting March 1 this year.
In a statement to the Jakarta Stock Exchange Apexindo said it would use the 750-horsepower land drilling rig complete with crews. The company said the contract was a reiterate order from the previous one at the same location.
Both Apexindo and Medco E&P are subsidiaries of publicly listed oil and gas firm PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. (Robert)
