Apexindo wins US$5.2 million contract in UAE

PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk, one of the country's oil drilling companies, has won a US$5.2 million contract from Crescent Petroleum Company and Indago Oman Ltd to carry out drilling activities at their offshore Mubarak field in UAE, Kompas reported on Thursday.
Apexindo's president director Hertriono Kartowisastro said in Jakarta on Wednesday that under the contract, Apexindo would carry out drilling activities at one of the oil wells in the Mubarak field.
Apexindo has also been given an option to carry out another drilling job at another oil well in the field with a contract value worth about US$5.2 million, Hertriono said, adding that the drilling activities at each of the wells would be completed in 75 days.
He said that the company would operate its Raniworo rig to carry out the drilling activities in the Mubarak field. (*)
