APMC in operation cooperation deal with E. Kalimantan coal miner

The official did not give the IUP?s owner name but the official said that the mine will start production in September this year with initial production of 30,000 tonnes per month.
Next year, the company plans to double its coal production to 60,000 tonnes per month, the official said. Calorific value from the mine is about 5,800-5,600 kcal/kg (ADB) with total moisture 28-29%, the official said.
Meanwhile, APMC ?s coal trading unit plans to sell 1.2-1.5 million tonnes of coal for this year, equal compared to last year?s sales figure, the official added.
APMC has bagged a three-year contract to supply 24,000 tons per month of coal to Philippine cement maker Holcim Philippine, starting January 2010
For the domestic market, the company has secured contracts to supply to cement maker PT Indocement under spot contract. Other buyers are PT.Semen Tonasa, PT.Semen Gresik, and paper maker PT.Tjiwi Kimia. (denny)
