Apple Coal eyeing 3MT output

Indonesia coal producer PT Apple Coal Indonesia is expecting to produce up to 3 million tons this year.
Ben Lawson, Chief Development Officer PT Apple Coal told Petromindo.com that the company is starting to boost its production. "So far we have to slow down the production due to certain factors such as prices. But this year we expect to produce up to 3 million tons," he said,
PT Apple Coal Indonesia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Commodities Ltd. of Hong Kong. The company owns Coal mines in South Sumatra & has acquired 2 different concessions in Kalimantan of non-coking steam coal which have total reserves of over 30 million metric tons.
It specializes in coal exploration and mine development. The company also acts as a trading arm of the parent company for Indonesian region. The company has entered into coal trade with the help of exclusive tie-ups with four coal mines in Indonesia for a total commitment of 200,000 MT per month. The output quality ranges from 5800/5600 Kcal/Kg up to 6700/6500 Kcal GCV.
