April oil output falls on heavy rains

Indonesia?s oil output fell 1.9 percent in April after rains disrupted drilling in Sumatra and Java islands. Output fell to 925,000 barrels a day in April from 942,000 barrels a day in March, according to data provided by the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry. Condensate production, however, increased to 126,700 barrels a day in April from 120,000 barrels a day in March.
Chevron Pacific Indonesia, the country?s number one oil producer, produced 459,000 barrels per day in April, a company spokesperson said.(godang)
