Aqua-Terra Supply sets up service facility in Batam

Singapore Exchange-listed firm Aqua-Terra Supply announced on Monday it has set up a rigging and testing and certification facility in Batam.

The 90,000 square foot facility will serve the rapidly increasing number of oil and gas and marine companies operating on the island, the company said.

The facility will operate under the name PT MH Global Indonesia and have an issued and paid up share capital of US$1.5 million.

Marinehub, a unit of Aqua-Terra, will hold 99 percent of the equity interest and the remaining one percent equity interest will be held by PT Kabil Indonusa Estate.

The yard has an offshore jetty that can berth vessels of up to 30,000 tonnes.

Aqua-Terra Supply is an integrated service provider and procurement specialist serving customers in the oil and gas, marine and mining industries. (alex)
