Army helps PLN to secure coal delivery

PLN said in a statement that the MoU wa signed by PLN President Director Sofyan Basir and Army Chief of Staff Gatot Nurmantyo.
Specific agreement on the cooperation was alsigned Friday for 15 coal-fired power plants (PLTU) including six in Sumatra and nine in Java.
Sofyan said PLN has also asked the Indonesian Military to help provide security for PLN facilities including power transmission lines.
The power plants in Sumatra are:
1. PLTU Nagan Raya, Nagan Raya Regency, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province
2. PLTU Pangkalan Susu, Langkat, North Sumatra
3. PLTU Labuan Angin, Sibolga, North Sumatra
4. PLTU Ombilin, Sawahlunto, West Sumatra
5. PLTU Sebalang, South Lampung, Lampung
6. PLTU Teluk Sirih, Bungus, West Sumatra
The power plant in Java are:
1. PLTU Labuan, Pandeglang, Banten
2. PLTU Lontar, Tangerang, Banten
3. PLTU Suralaya 8, Cilegon, Banten
4. PLTU Pelabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi, West Java
5. PLTU Indramayu, Indramayu, West Java
6. PLTU Rembang, Rembang, Central Java
7. PLTU Pacitan, Pacitan, East Java
8. PLTU Tanjung Awar-awar, Tuban, East Java
9. PLTU Paiton 9, Probolinggo, East Java.
