Arpeni bags coal shipping contract from Tanjung Jati B

JSX-listed shipping firm PT.Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line (APOL) announced on Thursday it had won tender to ship coal and jetty management for Tanjung Jati B coal-fired power plant in Jepara, Central Java.
The company said in a release that the 15-year deal would worth Rp.3.08 trillion, or about US$330 million.
The company did not give detail about the volume of the coal that would be transported.
Tanjung Jati B operates 2x660 power plants and consumes about 4 million tonnes of coal per year. (alex)
