Arpeni handles most of Suralaya power plant?s coal shipment

Local shipping company Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line (APOL) has successfully expanded its shipping services within the past several years and it has now handled 80 percent of the shipment of coal for the Suralaya steam power plant near Merak, Banten, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Thursday.
APOL?s president director Oentoro Soeryo said in Jakarta on Wednesday that the company was trusted to handle the coal shipment for the power plant thanks to the good services and competitive prices it offered.
Oentoro said that about 40 percent of the company?s shipping services were focused on the shipment of coal, 30 percent on general cargo, 20 percent on crude oil and another 10 percent for other related shipping businesses. (*)
