Arpeni sells Panama-flagged ship

PT Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line Tbk has sold MV Ocean Energy, a Panama-flagged ship owned and operated by its subsidiary Rosaceae Maritime Overseas S.A.
In a report filed to the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) on Thursday, the company said that it had delivered the ship to the buyer on 10th December 2012 and finalized all necessary documents for the transaction with the buyer on 4th January 2013.
The company did not disclose the value of the transaction, nor did it identify the buyer, it only said with the third party.
But it stated that it had decided to sell the ship in an effort to improve its efficiency as the market has not yet recovered, while the ship was not productive.
