Arun LNG export to go down next year

Thursday, November 22 2007 - 01:14 AM WIB

ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia (EMOI) said on Wednesday Arun LNG plant in Aceh will ship 46 cargoes to its East Asian customer next year, down from 52 cargoes planned for this year.

VP External Relations Maman Budiman said the cargoes for next year would be in line with the contracted volume.

Maman added that in 2007 Arun should have shipped 74 cargoes but some 22 cargoes are rescheduled.

EMOI supplies entire gas requirement of Arun LNG plant from its Aceh gas fields, but production is dwindling due to reserves depletion. (alex)
