Arun LNG shipment starts today

The first LNG shipment from Arun since it halted operation in March would start today, with the Wakaba Maru tanker expected to leave at around 9-10 a.m. local time, spokesman of the state-owned oil and as company Pertamina L. Harijanto said Saturday.
Harijanto told Petromindo.com that the tanker would leave for Nagasaki, Japan, to deliver one cargo (around 57,000 tons) of LNG to Tepco.
PT Arun LNG halted operation in March after PT ExxonMobil Indonesia stopped feeding natural gas to the facility amid security problem in the restive Aceh province where separatist grouping had intensified effort for a independence of the oil and gas-rich province.
Officials expected that there would be around 116 LNG shipment to Japan in the remaining period of this year.(*)
