Arun LNG shipment to drop next year

Shipments from the Arun LNG plant in Aceh are expected to fall by 14 percent next year on falling output, The Jakarta Globe reported Wednesday.
The Arun LNG plant is expected to ship a total of 36 cargoes in 2010, down from 42 in 2009, Maman Budiman, a senior vice president at Exxon Mobil Indonesia was quoted as saying.
When contacted by Petromindo.Com for confirmation, Agung Sapto Rahardjo, the LNG marketing head of upstream oil, gas regulator BPMIGAS, said Arun is expected to ship 35 cargoes of LNG, while the Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan 295 cargoes next year.
As per November this year, Arun has shipped a total of 35 cargoes and Bontang a total of 293 cargoes. (godang)
