Arun LNG terminal not affected by quake

A 6.4 earthquake shook parts of Aceh this morning, but the Arun LNG receiving and regasification terminal in the province was not affected, according to PT Perta Arun Gas, the terminal?s operator.

?It (the LNG terminal) is safe,? said company Corporate Secretary Adityama Sardjito to Petromindo.com, but did not provide further details.

Meanwhile, Taslim Yunus, spokesman of upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas told Petromindo.com that no oil and gas contractors in Aceh have reported impact on their operations and production following the earthquake.
