Arun receives second LNG cargo from Tangguh
Monday, March 16 2015 - 05:00 AM WIB
PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) said that a second LNG cargo from Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua is expected to be received today by the Arun LNG receiving terminal and regasification unit in Aceh.
?The second cargo will arrive this morning at Arun,? said Pertagas President Director Hendra Jaya told Petromindo.com Monday.
The gas from the facility will be channeled to state-owned electricity firm PLN?s power plant via the Arun-Belawan pipeline.
The first LNG cargo from the BP-operated Tangguh LNG plant arrived in Aceh on February 18 of this year, allowing PT Perta Arun Gas, a subsidiary of Pertagas, to start commissioning the Arun regasification facility.
The Tangguh plan is expected to deliver 9 LNG cargoes to PLN in 2015, the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas has said.
