Arun to ship 39 cargoes of LNG in 2009

Aceh LNG plant Arun NGL will ship 39 cargoes of LNG in 2009 to its East Asian customers, President Director Fauzi Husein said as quoted by North Sumatra daily Analisa.

Husein said Arun should have produced 42 cargoes but 3 cargoes are being allocated to Aceh fertilizer maker PT.Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) under swap mechanism.

Husein said in 2008 Arun shipped 43 cargoes of LNG.

Arun had been producing LNG since 1978 and had shipped 4,142 cargoes of LNG as per December 31, 2008.(*)
