Coal miner PT Arutmin Indonesia will allocate about 30 percent of its coal output this year for state-owned electricity firm PT PLN, its traditional domestic customer, as the company isn?t currently seeking for new markets.

?We have contract around 10 million tons with PLN,? said CEO of Arutmin, Ido Hutabarat, to Petromindo.com on Wednesday.

He said that the remaining output will be exported including to India, the Philippines and Japan.

As has been earlier reported, Ido said that Arutmin, a subsidiary of IDX-listed coal giant PT Bumi Resources Tbk, plans to produce around 35-40 million tons this year in line with existing capacity of its infrastructure facilities.

Arutmin, operates a combined coal concession area of 59,261 hectares in East and South Kalimantan, according to company website.
