Arutmin fails to meet 2012 output target

South Kalimantan coal miner PT Arutmin Indonesia, a coal unit of IDX-listed firm PT Bumi Resources Tbk failed to meet its 2012 coal production target, an industry source told Petromindo.Com
Arutmin produced around 25-26 million tons of coal in 2012, below the company?s initial target of 30 million tons due to lower coal price. ?The figure is unaudited,? the source said.
The coal production figure in 2012 was slightly higher compared to 2011 coal output of 24.7 million tons.
Arutmin is targeting to produce 30-32 million tons and 40 million tons in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
