Arutmin gets coal supply deal from India?s Adani

South Kalimantan coal miner PT. Arutmin Indonesia has clinched coal supply deal with Indian firm Adani Group, an Arutmin official said on Tuesday.
Vice President Kaz Tanaka told reporters that Arutmin would ship 7 million tonnes low-rank coal from its mine to unspecified destination in India for 5 years.
Tanaka said first shipment had commenced in January 2007.
He further said that Arutmin is eyeing more coal export to India in the near future.
Arutmin is a subsidiary of Indonesia?s top coal producer PT.Bumi Resources Tbk. (godang)
