Arutmin reports H1 production

South Kalimantan coal producer PT. Arutmin Indonesia booked production of 7 million tons of coal during the first half of this year, a company official said.
Arutmin senior official Sonny Pangestu told Petromindo.Com that during the first quarter of the year, the company produced 3.32 million tons due to heavy rain that hit the company?s mining area. In the second quarter, the company managed to increase production to 3.68 million tons.
Arutmin, a unit of Indonesian top coal mininghouse PT. Bumi Resources, is planning to produce 18 million tons of coal this year. Arutmin is planning to boost production by opening new mine in Batulicin and new pits in Satui and Senakin mines.(godang)
