Arutmin top executive fails to show up at East Kalimantan Court as witness in a financial scam

President of coal mining firm PT Arutmin Indonesia Kenneth Patrick Farell failed on Thursday to show up at the Balikpapan Court in East Kalimantan as a witness in a financial scandal that cost the company some Rp 5.1 billion (US$1=Rp 9,300), the local Kaltim Post daily reported.
The paper said that the Australian citizen could not come to the court because he was still in a trip to Australia.
The paper added that Arutmin operational general manager Endang also did not show up because he was still in Jakarta.
The financial scandal involves three of Arutmin officials. (*)
