Asia Natural eyes gold mine in NTT

IDX-listed mining and trading company PT Asia Natural Resources Tbk is hoping that it will be able to complete an assessment to acquire PT Kajora?s gold mine in Alor regency of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province in the first semester of next year.
?The assessment can result in acquiring the gold mine concession, or becoming a strategic investor in PT Kajora,? Asia Natural Resources? Corporate Assistant Widianti told Petromindo.com during a public expose in Jakarta on Friday.
?The process of the assessment has been 65 percent completed. Hopefully, it could be completed in the first semester of 2013,? he said, adding that PT Kajora?s mine is now in an exploration stage.
Asked about coal trading activities, Widi said that for the time being, the company has temporarily stopped coal trading due to uncertainty in coal prices. ?We will continue the coal business when the price is recovering,? Widi said.
