TSX-listed Asiamet Resources Limited reported on Tuesday that ongoing exploration drilling at the BKZ Polymetallic (BKZ) prospect located on its Kalimantan Surya Kencana (KSK) 6th Generation Contract of Work (CoW), in Central Kalimantan Province, continues to intersect shallow, thick, high-grade base and precious metal-rich mineralization.

Highlights of the latest batch of drill results received are:
BKZ33750-03 21.5m at 9.1% Zn, 3.9% Pb, 365g/t Ag, 0.19% Cu and 0.30g/t Au (from 22.5m)
Includes 9.0m at 13.1% Zn, 5.9% Pb, 817g/t Ag, 0.32% Cu and 0.36g/t Au (from 22.5m)
The hole intersected the highest silver grades seen to date including a 3m interval assaying 2,101g/t Ag.

Drilling Details
The third hole on section line BKZ33750 was drilled westward to confirm continuity of mineralization between section lines BKM323700 and BKM33750 where hole BKZ33750-02 intersected a broad zone of polymetallic mineralization from 1.7 meter depth hosted in quartz-sulphide veins to semi-massive sulphides. BKZ33750-03 (87.5m EOH) was collared 40m east of BKM33750-02 and intersected quartz-sulphide veins to semi-massive sphalerite (zinc), galena (lead), chalcopyrite (copper) and pyrite mineralization from 22.5m depth.

Continuity of the BKZ polymetallic mineralization has been confirmed over a strike length of 225m and remains open to the north, south and east.

Summary
With the continued success of the BKZ exploration drilling, the company has opted to expand the program by six holes, or approximately 600 meters. The initial program comprised a total of 14 holes for 1,354 meters of diamond core drilling. The exploration drill rig is currently set up on section line BKZ33550 in the southern part of the BKZ prospect testing the continuity of both the upper polymetallic mineralization and the down-dip potential of the structurally controlled high-grade copper-silver zone.

Two other drill rigs are currently completing geotechnical drilling for proposed infrastructure sites (Heap-Leach Pad and Mine Infrastructure sites) at BKM, and upon completion will re-commence scout drilling at Beruang Kanan West (BKW) and Beruang Kanan South (BKS).

Peter Bird, Asiamet's Chief Executive Officer commented: "Exploration drilling at BKZ continues to intersect exceptional high-grade polymetallic mineralization, confirming the presence of a deposit, which may potentially standalone, and remains open in multiple directions.?

?Given the success of the exploration program completed to date, we are expanding upon the current drilling campaign by a further 6 holes to further extend the BKZ deposit mineralization and build upon our understanding of the deposit controls and geometry,? he added.
