Asian Oilfield bags US$4.20M seismic contract in Sumatra

Asian Oilfield Services Ltd said that it had secured a contract for carrying out 2D Seismic Data Acquisition and Processing Services in Jambi province, Sumatra Island, for an approximate value of US$ 4.20 million.

In a report to Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said that with this contract it makes its foray into international market for seismic exploration, processing and interpretation business.

Asian Oilfield Services Limited (ASIAN) is engaged in providing Geophysical, Drilling and Well services to customers across the Indian sub-continent. ASIAN has evolved over the past 20 years via progressive organic growth and is currently driven by a dynamic management team, focused on quality and performance.

Its portfolio of services includes 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition, basic seismic data processing, topographic survey, continuous core drilling for mineral and CBM exploration, wire-line logging and directional core drilling to target shallow horizons.
