Asmin Bara plans to start production in this year

Central Kalimantan's coal miners PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) and PT Asmin Bara Jaan (ABJ), are expecting to start coal production in the fourth quarter of this year, an industrial source told Petromindo.Com.

First coal production will come from ABB mine with initial production of around 50,000 per month, the source said. ABB mine is adjacent to ABJ mine.

Both mines are owned by Indonesia?s largest coal contractor PT Pamapersada Nusantara with 60 percent stake and the remaining 40 percent held by coal trading and mining firm PT Andalan Tiga Berjaya (ATB)

ABB has high quality coal with CV of around 6,800-7,000 kcal/kg, while ABJ's coal has CV of around 5,800-6,000 kcal/kg.
