Astri Mining Resources achieves Q1coal output target

Coal mining company PT Lestari Cipta Persada stated that its subsidiary PT Astri Mining Resources has managed to meet the first quarter 2016 coal production target from its concession in Batu Licin, South Kalimantan province.

President Director, Henry Soetio, told Petromindo.com that the company is targeting to produce around 2.4 million tons this year.

?In the first quarter of 2016 we were able to produce around 800,000 tons,? he said, adding that it was in line with the quarterly target.

He said that around 60 percent of the output were destined to China and India. ?And around 40 percent were allocated to domestic market,? he said.
