Astri Mining sets flat coal output target this year

Coal mining company PT Astri Mining Resources (AMR), a subsidiary of Lestari Citra Persada (LCP), sets flat coal production target this year.

Henry Soetio, LCP President Director told Petromindo.com recently that the company is eyeing only 2 million tons of coal output from Astri's concession in Batulicin, South Kalimantan provinces.

"Last year we produced around 2 million tons from Astri. For 2017, we set flat output target of around 2 million tons," Henry said, adding that the coal production is allocated for domestic market. "We are focusing on domestic market because the price is better (than export market)," he said.
