Atlas acquires two coal mines

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Atlas Resources Tbk announced on Friday that through its subsidiaries it has acquired two coal mining firms in East Kalimantan.
According to the company?s filing with the IDX, it has acquired 100 percent shares of PT. Alhasanie for US$4 million from PT.Dayana Lestari and Hetty Tumondo.
The company also acquired the entire shares of PT. Sumber Daya Kumala for Rp 250 million or about $26,000 from Paulus Warsono Broto and PT. Darma Putra Wahana Pratama.
The acquisitions were conducted through the company?s two subsidiaries PT. Optima Persada Energi and PT. Aquela Pratama Indonesia.
The company did not give detail about the newly acquired mines.
