Atlas Copco targets 25% sales growth

Equipment and services provider company for mining industry, PT Atlas Copco Fluidcon targets to increase its sales growth this year up to 25 percent compared to the sales in the previous year.
Robin Stephens, President Director of Atlas Copco said that this target is based on the sales achievement of the company in the first quarter 2012 which has exceeded the target.
Stephens said that the company's main sales is from equipment for drilling and rock excavation which most of the costumers are of coal and mineral mining companies. Stephens, however did not disclose the exact amount of its sales target.
"We can't disclose it yet, but I can assure you that the company shows good performance this year, and we target that within the next two years the company will double size its manpower to 700 employees from about 360 employees the company has currently," said Stephens on the side lines of the signing of collective labor agreement (CLA) of 2012-2014 period between management and Labor Union of PT. Atlas Copco Fluidcon in Bali, recently.
Atlas Copco's mining and rock excavation technique business area provides equipment for drilling and rock excavation, a complete range of related consumables and service through a global network. The business area innovates for sustainable productivity in surface and underground mining, infrastructure, civil works, well drilling and geotechnical applications.
Principal product development and manufacturing units are located in Sweden, the United States, Canada, China and India.
