Atlas produces slightly higher output in 2012

IDX-listed coal mining group PT Atlas Resources Tbk has produced 1.4 million tons of coal during 2012, slightly higher compared to 2011 total output of 1.28 million tons, the company?s official told Petromindo.com.
"The figure is the combined total production from Atlas? 4 coal producing mines, namely PT Berau Bara Energi (BBE) at Berau regency, East Kalimantan, Diva Kencana Borneo in West Kutai regency, East Kalimantan, PT Gorby Putra Utama Utama in Musi banyuasin regency, South Sumatra and PT Hanson Energy Martapura in Ogan Komering Ulu regency, South Sumatra," the source said.
The company is expecting to produce around 1.5-2 million tons of coal this year but all depends on market condition.
?It could be higher than 2 million if the market is improving,? the source added.
