Atlas Resources completes the first hauling road project

IDX-listed coal producer, PT Atlas Resources Tbk, has completed the development of first hauling road with the of 130 kilometers length in Muba Hub coal mine project in South Sumatra.
Dono Boestami, Director and Corporate Secretary of Atlas Resources told Petromindo.com that trucks with the capacity up to 30 tons and average speed of 40 kilometers per hour could pass the hauling road.
He said that the the second hauling road project with a length of 137 kilometers is in the process of completing the land compensation payment. The second hauling road has double capacity compared to the first hauling road.
"We expect the development of this second road will be completed in 2013," Dono said adding that the road will be able to be passed through by trucks with capacity of 60 tons at average speed of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
Muba Hub coal mine project started producing coal in Q4 2011. The company plans to produce 5.1 million ton per year in 2014.
