Atlas Resources signs deal with PLN

IDX-listed PT Atlas Resources Tbk has recently signed a contract with state electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara for 20 years, Bisnis Indonesia reported.
The company will be sending 640,000 tons of coal per annum to Tarahan Baru steam power plant and 429,000 tons of coal to Teluk Naga steam power plant this year. Letter of intent has been signed for the company to supply other state owned power plant in the country, namely 429,000 tons of coal to Pelabuhan Ratu steam power plant in 2013, 1.12 million tons to Pangkalan Susu steam power plant in 2014 as well as another 460,000 tons to Pesisir steam power plant in 2015.
The company's Director Dono Boestami stated that the agreed price for Tarahan Baru delivery is at Rp500,000 per ton, while the pricing for the rest of the planned delivery will follow PLN price index.(*)
