Atlas sets higher coal output target

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Atlas Resources Tbk has set higher production target of 2.2 million tons of coal this year.
Company Corporate Secretary Lidwina S. Nugraha said that to help achieve the target, the company has allocated US$9.8 million for capital expenditure this year.
?This year, our production target is 2.2 million tons. We allocate capex of $9.8 million,? Lidwina told Petromindo.com Friday, but did not provide comparative figures and other details.
Atlas operates coal mines in South Sumatra and East Kalimantan. The company last year set production target of 1.75 million tons.
