ATPK targets 1.5m tons output in 2013

IDX-listed PT ATPK Resources Tbk expects to produce and sell 1.5 million tons in 2013, coming from its subsidiary PT Mega Alam Sejahtera mine site at Berau regency, East Kalimantan.

?That's the conservative target with our current two mother vessels. With the third MV on the way, we should be able to produce up to 1.8 million tons," company director Albert Bangun told Petromindo.com today, adding that on site infrastructure is able to accommodate the production of 2.4 million tons per annum.

ATPK sold most of its coal to India, producing and selling up to 750,000 tons of coal throughout 2012.
