Hole JADD29 was drilled in the main Lipi prospect. while holes JADD25 to JADD28 were drilled in the Lipi North prospect. Each of these holes intersected gold bearing hydrothermal breccia zones and/or quartz veins.
Hole JADD29 was drilled approximately 25 metres up dip of the recently reported JADD24 (which included 15m at 0.90 g/t gold and 2.01% copper and a further 13.6 metres at 0.97 g/t gold and 2.26% copper). Importantly, hole JADD29 intersected both significant copper mineralisation and multiple gold bearing zones.
The results from hole JADD29 included six zones of significant gold mineralisation including:
? a very shallow intersect of 3.3 metres at 5.20 g/t gold from 4 9 metres depth
? an 18 metre intersection of 2.46 g/t gold, 11.9 g/t silver and 0.91% copper from 47 metres and includes a 1.6 metre interval of 13.8 g/t gold, 22.2 g/t silver and 2.88% copper.
? a 3.85 metre intersection of 5.97 g/t gold, 25.7 g/t silver and 2.97% copper from 102 metres depth.
The four shallow holes drilled in the Lipi North area (JADD25 to JADD28) are indicating that gold mineralisation continues to extend northwards.
Hole JADD25 was drilled approximately 32 metres north of the known mineralization and intersected two zones of shallow gold mineralisation including 10.1 metres at 2.0g/t gold from 6.7 metres depth and a further 12 metres at 1.35 g/t gold from 22.5 metres.
Hole JADD26 was drilled approximately 68 metres north of the known Lipi mineralisation and this hole also intersected significant mineralisation with 7.9 metres at 1.17 g/t gold and 4.6 g/t silver from 31.0 metres depth.
JADD27 was drilled approximately 38 metres north of JADD26 and continued to intersect gold mineralisation with 8.65 metres at 1.93 g/t gold, 6.33 g/t silver and 0.88% zinc from 2135 metres.
Hole JADD28 intersected two narrow zones including 0.6m at 6.39 g/t gold and 2.4 g/t silver from 28.1 metres and 1.7 metres of 1.69 g/t gold, 8.1 g/t silver and 3.06% zinc from 35 metres depth. Hole JADD28 may have been drilled too far to the east to test the projected strike of the Lipi mineralisation.
The results from JADD25 to JADD27 indicated that the mineralisation at Lipi may extend into Lipi North prospect and that the strike length of interest is now approximately 600 metres. Further down dip drilling of the identified mineralisation in holes JADD25 to JADD27 will be undertaken at a later date to test vertical extension of the mineralisation.
Current Activities
Drilling continues at Lipi. Planning is underway to drill a number of deep drill holes targeting deep geophysical targets which may be indicating a porphyry intrusive at depth in the vicinity of holes JADD24 and JADD29.
An induced polarisation survey has been completed with a number of targets identified. (end of edited release)
