(15 November, 2010)--The Directors of Augur Resources Ltd are pleased to advise that further results have been received from two diamond drill holes from the main Lipi prospect within the Central Jampang gold project in south-western Java.

Holes JADD31 and JADD32 were drilled in the main Lipi prospect. JADD31 was drilled approximately 20 metres south of hole JADD24 (which included 15 metres @ 0.90 g/t gold and 2.01 % copper and a further 13.6 metres at 0.97 g/t gold and 2.26% copper). JADD32 was drilled a further 20 metres south of JADD31.

Hole JADD31 intersected a 42.5 metre zone of anomalous gold and copper mineralisation from 71.6 metres. This 42.5 metre zone averaged 1.09 g/t gold, 6.82 g/t silver and 0.58% copper. The zone includes 14.1 metres at 1.46 g/t gold, 11.9 g/t silver and 0.88% copper from 71.6 metres depth (including 4.2 metres at 3.41 g/t gold, 24.2 g/t silver and 1.73% copper), 10.8 metres at 0.89 g/t gold 9.8 g/t silver and 1.10% copper from 90.4 metres (includes 0.6 metres at 4.69 g/t gold, 103.0 g/t silver and 12.00% copper) and 9.6 metres at 1.49 g/t gold and 3.9 g/t silver from 104.5 metres depth. The mineralisation is interpreted to occur in steeply dipping hydrothermal breccias, quartz veins and quartz stockwork zones.

Hole JADD32 intersected two zones of significant gold mineralisation. A 5.0 metre zone form 79.1 metres returned 1.54 g/t gold and 3.0 g/t silver. A further zone of 6.9 metres returned 2.22 g/t gold and 16.9 g/t silver from 87.1 metres. This deeper zone included 1.0 metre at 7.57 g/t gold from 87.1 metres and a further 1.0 metre at 5.20 g/t gold and 109.0 g/t silver from 93 metres depth.

Interpretation of geophysical data (induced polarisation and magnetic data) suggests that the main Lipi gold zone has a strike extent of approximately 1,000 metres. Historical drilling and drilling by Augur has to date only tested approximately 460 metres of the strike. In addition to the Lipi geophysical anomaly, the recent induced polarisation survey confirmed the existence of the Lipi West and Lipi East anomalies along with a number of anomalies which previously had not been identified. These include two anomalies in the south of the project area which have a similar orientation to the Lipi anomaly and appear to be truncated by the same structure as Lipi.

Prioritising of drill targets will is occurring and drill testing of these anomalies will occur after the completion of the current drill program.

Current Activities
Drilling is currently underway in the northern Lipi area to test for continuation of mineralisation at depth below the recently reported holes JADD25, JADD26 and JADD27. Each of these holes intersected shallow gold mineralisation including 10.1 metres at 2.0 g/t gold from just 6.7 metres in hole JADD25. (end of edited release)
