AUS and AUB complete detail exploration activities

Indonesian miners PT Arta Usaha Sarana (AUS) and PT Arta Usaha Bahagia (AUB) recently stated they have completed the detail exploration activities in the two concessions located in the regency of North Barito, comprising 260 drill holes followed by geophysical logging.

"The total area, 3,211 hectares licensed to PT AUB and 4,950 hectares to PT AUS, the study recorded as having a total estimated resource of 132 million tons and measured reserves of 68 million tons with coal quality ranging between 5,300 and 5,950 kcal/kg (ADB) calorific value for both concessions," said the group representative Arie Tarianto to Petromindo.com, adding that both concessions have been declared Clean and Clear in February and May 2012, respectively.

"While company management is preparing for infrastructure (development) plan, we are also in the process of acquiring forestry permit (IPPKH), which is expected to be all completed at the end of 2012," he said.
