Aussie firm acquires stake at S. Kalimantan coal mining contractor

Australian telecommnication firm Cape RangeWireless Ltd announced on Monday it had entered into a deal to acquire a 20 percent interest in Metro Consolidated [s] Pte Ltd, which unit has right to conduct mining activities for a South Kalimantan coal mining firm PT.Senamas Energindo Mulia.

The company would buy the interest with A$400,000 and 6,500,000 shares.

Metro?s unit PT Metro Consolidated Resources has entered into a sub-contract deal with PT Batubesar Mega Nusantara to conduct mining activities on a coal prospect owned by Senamas.(alex)
