Aussie firm eyeing Indonesian coal, gold projects

ASX-listed GTI Resources Limited is eyeing to acquire coal and gold projects in Indonesia to expand its portfolio.
The company reported on Thursday that during the October-December quarter of 2008 it has been on reviewing near-production projects in Indonesia.
The company has also recently established a presence in Indonesia through a local consulting group, giving access to an expanded network of contacts within the mining sector and a Jakarta base from which to operate. (alex)
