Austindo plans drilling in Papua, E. Java tenements

Australian mining firm Austindo resources Limited said on Friday it, and its partner Anglo American Group planned to launch 4,000-meter drilling program in Aisasjur copper-gold project in the Bird?s Head area in Papua island starting June this year.

Austindo has 20 percent interest in the project.

Meanwhile, the company also said that it would commence diamond drilling in its Trenggalek gold prospect in East Java mid-2006. The company has 95 percent shares in the project. (alex)
