Australia?s Straits Recources to commence W. Java gold project drilling Q3

Australian mining firm Straits Resources Limited said on Thursday that the company and partner state miner PT. Aneka Tambang Tbk. (Antam) had planned drilling program in the third quarter of the year at two very prospective regions at the Kuda gold project in West Java.

Straits said the holes would test a number of vein systems at Cibaliung and a strongly anomalous silica cap at Cijulang.

Straits has 75 percent stake in the project, with Antam holds the remaining 25 percent. (alex)
