Australia?s Straits Resources, Antam to commence drilling at Kuda gold project

Australian mining firm Straits Resources Limited said the company, together with joint venture partner PT. Aneka Tambang, had planned a drilling program at two prospective regions at Kuda gold project in West Java.

?All the tenements have now been granted by the regional districts and drilling approval is expected shortly. The holes will test a number of vein systems at Cibaliung and a strongly anomalous silica cap at Cijulang,? said the company in its quarterly reports released last week.

Straits has 75 percent stake at the project. (alex).
