Australian coal experts train local managers

Four coal experts from Australia was in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, for three days last week to train managers of local coal companies, the Kaltim Post daily reported.

The paper said that the short training and course program was meant to improve the technical ability of the local managers to produce better quality of coal products particularly as Indonesia is the world?s second largest coal exporter.

CCI Indonesia organized the course program.

The paper said that this was the first program ever implemented in Indonesia. A second program will be implemented again in six months time.(*)
