Australian Oil & Gas Corp to commence drilling for ExxonMobil in April

Australian firm Australian Oil & Gas Corp. Ltd. said on Tuesday that its fully owned drilling subsidiary Oil Drilling and Exploration Limited had won a 3-year contract plus possible extension drilling contract with ExxonMobil in Cepu oilfield, East Java.
The company is currently manufacturing 2000 HP onshore drilling in Houston for that purpose.
The company said the rig is expected to be completed by the end of February this year and drilling would commence in April 2002.
ExxonMobil is currently developing its giant Cepu oilfield, which is scheduled to start production in 2003. (alex)
