Avocet reports N. Sulawesi gold production

UK gold miner Avocet Mining reported that production from its North Lanut mine in North Sulawesi reached 13,703 ounces for January-March 2006 quarter compared to 8,177 ounces in the previous year?s corresponding quarter, bringing total production for the April 2005-March 2006 financial year to 54,520 ounces.
Avocet commenced production from North lanut gold mine in October 2004.
Avocet has 80 percent stake in the mine. (alex)
