Avocet reports production decrease from N. Sulawesi gold mine

UK miner Avocet Mining announced on Thursday gold production from its North Lanut Production from the North Lanut dump leach mine North was 11,216 ounces
for October-December 2006 quarter, down from previous year?s same period of 15,075 ounces.
Nine month gold production (April-Dec 2006) down to 34,695 ounces from a- year- ago period production of 40,817 ounces.
The company did not disclose further detail.
Avocet has 80 percent stake in North Lanut mine. (alex)
