AWE to drill Dyah-1 exploration well next year

ASX-listed AWE Limited plans to drill the Dyah-1 exploration well in the North Madura PSC, East Java, according to a senior official at the upstream authority SKK Migas.

Arief Fanzuri, Head of the Survey and Drilling Division at SKK Migas, told Petromindo.com on Saturday that the drilling program is scheduled for September 2014.

The North Madura PSC, which covers an area 3,083 sq km, is operated by AWE which holds a 50 percent interest, while the remainder is equally divided between North Madura Energy Limited and PT Mitra.
